World Peace Conference 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden
Applications are ongoing to the World Peace Conference 2019 which jointly organized by International Youth Society, Universal Peace Foundation in Sweden, Union of Thai Missionaries in Europe, Buddharam temple in Sweden and will be held at Stockholm City Hall in Stockholm, Sweden and Estonia from 29 June to 3 July 2019.
Organizers are inviting leaders from health care, academia, government, public safety, religions, business, and communities to meet together to share the solutions presented by experts. The format will allow for action plans to be developed such that real and measurable actions can be undertaken when attendees return home.
The primary goal of the conference is to contribute to the worldwide efforts to create a civilization of peace and to create leaders of Youth as ambassadors of Peace. Essential to this undertaking is life-long peace, education at home, in schools, and in the community, with its focus on the integral role of all members of society—children, youth, and adults.
Through the sharing of advanced research findings and proven effective strategies for creating peace at all levels of human society and interactions, the conference offers the participants the opportunity to explore ways of creating environments—families, schools, and communities—built on the foundations of a culture of peace, a culture of healing, and a culture of excellence – the three requisites of a civilization of peace.
During a three-day conference, 300 participants from different nationalities, take part in a wide variety of engagements. Workshops led by youth, who have either experienced the absence of peace or with personal ties to various forms of conflict, offer unique insights and solution-based discussions. Peacemakers, challengers, advocates, and experts from around the world share their knowledge and inspire through lectures and leaded debates. The intercultural evenings and performances add a sense of optimism and understanding, a sense of hope and purpose.
Participation fee is tagged at USD500 per delegate that includes cozy accommodation, food and beverage including transportation during conference and round trip to Tallinn, Estonia by cruise .
*However, participants are responsible for air ticket, visa application fees and other expenses not covered by Organizer.
- Step-1: Submit application form with authentic information by 20 May 2019.
- Step-2: Pay registration fee after receiving confirmation letter by 30 May 2019.
- Step-3: Applicants must email scanned copy of telegraphic transfer receipt, scanned copy of passport and one passport sized photo via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Note: *Payments by cash will not be accepted upon arrival. As participation to this conference are limited to only 300 seats applications will be considered on a first come first serve basis.
